Choice is king in Ehrwald, with skiing available at the Ehrwalder Alm, at the Sonnenhang, Wetterstein and the Zugspitze glacier.

Cross-country skiing can challenge the body and do good for your soul. The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena offers a variety of trails, with a total length of some 130km - all accessible from the free Skibus.
When you want to enjoy your winter holiday away from the slopes and trails, you will find plenty of interesting and beautiful places you can visit in winter. Our summer trails turn into perfect toboggan runs, ice skating and Alpine curling are both offered at our local ice rink, cuddle up under some blankets in a horse-drawn sleigh or watch the ski jumping competitions in nearby Garmisch!
